As our inaugural in-house attorney, you will be instrumental in shaping and developing our legal framework, addressing a broad spectrum of legal, regulatory, and strategic issues related to our investments, portfolio, and operations. This role is perfect for an entrepreneurial and pragmatic attorney with a strong background in legal due diligence, negotiation, and structuring investment transactions. Key Responsibilities: Offer strategic insights on governance and emerging legal and regulatory matters pertinent to our sector. Oversee public portfolio company affairs and compliance with securities laws. Establish and nurture effective relationships with outside counsel while managing legal budgets. Develop and implement streamlined legal operations processes to enhance scalability. Applicants should hold a J.D. and be an active member of at least one U.S. state bar, with a minimum of 8 years of legal experience, including time spent at a prestigious law firm or in an in-house role. A deep comprehension of cryptocurrency, including familiarity with token warrants, SAFTs, and specific industry considerations, is essential.
