ABOUT THE ROLE In this vital position, you will be responsible for ensuring all ground operations run smoothly, which includes cleanup, greasing equipment, and performing basic routine maintenance around the plant. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Carry out minor servicing and essential maintenance on plant equipment. Inspect conveyors and processing plants; replace screens and guards as necessary. Keep equipment clean and lubricated. Shovel aggregate and manage washouts. Conduct daily pre-and-post inspections, documenting observations in line with company policies. Safely operate heavy machinery such as bobcats, skid steers, man lifts, water trucks, and haul trucks. Assist in training less-experienced employees on proper operational techniques, equipment servicing, and repairs to enhance their skills. Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies across all work sites, promoting a culture of safety. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education: GED or High School Diploma preferred Required Work Experience: Familiarity with working in diverse weather conditions is advantageous. Additional Requirements: Strong physical capability to perform demanding activities in varying weather conditions. Reliable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn about plant flow and operations, including conveyors and crushing equipment. A cooperative team player willing to assist co-workers or supervisors as needed. Prior experience in a construction or quarry setting is a plus. This role involves shift work, callouts, as well as scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility in work scheduling on short notice is essential. All candidates must adhere to safety protocols and properly use Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators. Clean shaven requirements will be enforced for those needing to wear respirators.
