Join a Leading Flooring Contractor! A well-respected flooring contractor is actively seeking a dedicated Flooring Estimator to enhance their team. Key Responsibilities: Participate in pre-installation and project progress meetings to ensure seamless communication. Carefully read and interpret project drawings and specifications. Coordinate deliveries and installation schedules effectively. Order and monitor product shipments to ensure timely availability. Track project progress and address any issues in the field proactively. Provide accurate and efficient project estimates using the company's estimating software. Identify, respond to, and bid on new project opportunities with precision. Be flexible and assist with various responsibilities as they arise. Qualifications: Minimum of 3+ years of commercial flooring estimating experience. Familiarity with Carpet Tile, Broadloom Carpet, LVT, VCT, Sheet Vinyl, Sheet Rubber, and Resilient Flooring. Proficient in using Computer Assisted Drawing software for bid scope calculations. Experience with Measure Square and on-screen takeoff. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for proposals and calculations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to manage deadlines and handle multiple estimates simultaneously. Engage in value engineering and effective cost management strategies. Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and construction schedules.
