Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing methods. Investigate and resolve quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances using structured problem-solving techniques. Perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and company procedures. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and reduce defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introduction (NPI) to ensure quality by design. Manage supplier quality, including audits, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field. 3-5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, 8D). Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100). Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective/preventative actions. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus). Bonus QualificationsSix Sigma Black Belt certification. Advanced proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design review. ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE).
