Job Title: General Dentist Locum Tenens Location: Oxford, Connecticut Start Date: March 30, 2026 End Date: July 17, 2026 Schedule: Monday Thursday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM Friday 9:00 AM 2:00 PM Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099) Pay Rate: $100 $125 per hour Overview An outpatient dental clinic in Oxford, CT is seeking a General Dentist for a locum tenens assignment starting March 30 through July 17, 2026 . This is a great opportunity to join an established team with strong clinical support while providing comprehensive dental care to adult patients and some cooperative pediatric patients. Practice Details Setting: Outpatient Dental Clinic EMR: Dentrix Support Staff: 8 team members Patient Population: Adult and some cooperative pediatric patients Schedule: Monday Thursday: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM Coverage Type: Scheduled patients, no call Procedures & Responsibilities The provider will perform a variety of general dentistry procedures including: Fillings Crowns and bridges Full and partial dentures Root canals Simple and surgical extractions Hygiene checks Implant placement and restoration Invisalign treatments Providers may refer out complex cases as needed. Strong patient education and bedside manner are highly valued. Preferred Experience Experience with WaveOne Rotary system preferred Invisalign experience or certification preferred Requirements Active Connecticut dental license BLS certification required DEA preferred Nitrous Oxide certification preferred (if required by state)
