Cardiology APP Opportunity Meadville, PA A respected healthcare organization in Meadville, Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner ( NP) or Physician Assistant ( PA) to join its growing Cardiology team . This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of cardiologists and healthcare professionals providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings . The ideal candidate will have prior cardiology experience , strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to manage complex cardiovascular patients. Schedule • Full- time position • Monday Friday schedule • Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding • No overnight shifts • Call schedule determined in collaboration with cardiology team Position Highlights • Work closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams • Provide care in both clinic and hospital settings • Manage a variety of cardiovascular conditions • Opportunity to work in a modern, patient- focused medical center • Collaborative and supportive clinical environment Key Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive cardiovascular patient assessments including history and physical examinations • Manage cardiac patients in outpatient clinic and hospital environments • Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and labs • Provide follow- up care and management of chronic cardiovascular conditions • Educate patients on cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment plans • Coordinate care with nursing, rehabilitation, pharmacy, and specialty teams • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record • Support clinical quality improvement initiatives and cardiology best practices Required Qualifications • Certified Nurse Practitioner ( NP) or Physician Assistant ( PA- C) • Active Pennsylvania license or ability to obtain • 2+ years of cardiology experience preferred • Experience in outpatient cardiac care and outpatient pain management required • Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills • BLS and ACLS certifications required Preferred Experience • Outpatient cardiology clinic experience • Heart failure clinic experience • Cath lab or electrophysiology support • Experience coordinating care across inpatient and outpatient settings Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary • Comprehensive benefits package • Continuing education and professional development opportunities • Supportive and collaborative clinical team About the Community Meadville, Pennsylvania offers a welcoming community atmosphere, affordable cost of living, and easy access to outdoor recreation, making it an ideal place for healthcare professionals seeking both professional growth and quality of life.
