Grant Writing Division Manager Responsibilities will include planning, executing, and overseeing grant writing projects within the Grant Writing Division. Providing continual oversight of writing teams to assure grant writing projects are on schedule and submitted on time in line with KJA policies and procedures. Essential job functions include managing the grant production pipeline, monitoring the master spreadsheet daily, assuring writing team compliance with deadlines, compiling relevant department data, working with the Director of Operations, HR, and Team Coordinators to identify and hire new staff, supervising and conducting performance reviews for Team Coordinators, providing coverage for Team Coordinators in their absence, developing proposals and conducting QA reviews, meeting with Project Management to assign special/complex assignments, working with the Director of Operations to develop, enhance, and suggest improvements to company standard operating procedures and tools, identifying and supporting training and mentoring needs, coordinating and facilitating training for Team Coordinators and Grant Specialists, working with the Director of Client Success to ensure client satisfaction, alerting the Director of Client Success and Director of Operations to any client issues, ensuring grant writing staff is following all company procedures, and reviewing and approving Team Coordinator timesheets. Position qualifications include experience managing the entire project lifecycle from grant writing or proposal development through the submission process, 7 10 years of grant writing and development, strong management experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, extreme precision and detail orientation, high level of professionalism, proficiency in Asana or other project management software and grant database management programs, experience with multiple technology and software platforms, and a bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business or related field. GPC Preferred (or eligible to apply for GPC). Work environment primarily involves desk work in an office setting, may require long periods of computer usage, typing, reading, and data analysis, may involve in-person or virtual collaboration with team members and internal and external stakeholders, and employees are expected to dress in professional business attire.
