Qualifications/Minimum Requirements: 30 Semester hours of college credit. Pleasant personality and neat appearance. Must be able to supervise and engage with children in both indoor and outdoor settings. Experience in record-keeping. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Emotionally and physically able to perform duties required of the position. Have a good command of the English language. Have a basic knowledge of first aid and health procedures. Possess general knowledge of office equipment. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. First Aid and CPR certification preferred. Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to child care and education. Reports to: Director of Early Childhood Responsibilities: Supervise and oversee the camp counselors and ensure they are performing their duties effectively and adhere to the camp's program schedule. Assign tasks to counselors and caregivers, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient operations. Implement school rules and behavior guidelines consistently, modeling respectful and positive interactions. Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities such as sports, games, etc. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for students and staff. Administer first aid as needed and ensure staff are trained in basic first aid procedures. Maintain a clean and organized environment, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to school administration. Safely monitor external safety concerns & report to Admin/Security Ensure an adequate inventory of program supplies. Other duties as assigned by the Director.
