Management Level: M3 SUMMARY: This position is responsible for effectively leading and orchestrating the Tyson Pork Production Planning Team to achieve financial business and customer satisfaction objectives. Responsibilities include ensuring achievement of: optimized operational efficiencies thru forecast accuracy and plant adherence; departmental budgets; Primal Optimization Metrics; and Order Fill and On Time delivery objectives. Responsible for supervising maintaining and developing qualified and effective team members in area. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related to this position or equivalent field experience. Experience: 8 plus years of experience. Industry experience in Planning Operations Sales preferred. Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills; requires the ability to comprehend and lead planning processes through available existing and potential tools currently utilized in planning area. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills thru various levels required. Supervisor Skills: This position will supervise a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and or interrelated tasks and activities interacting significantly with other areas internally and externally. Special Skills: Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects display effective and justifiable decision-making abilities detail oriented trustworthy people oriented and capable of strong leadership for Team. Other Requirements: Experience in following requirement areas: Mathematical formulas and calculations to prepare or interpret financial or statistical information formal and informal presentations to groups on work-related topics application of original and independent thinking in developing highly complex issues in-depth skills and thorough understanding of planning procedures and systems and how these interact with other areas. Travel: 1-5 domestic trips per year. Priority consideration will be given to applicants at this facility, as well as priority for internal candidates impacted due to plant closure or job elimination.
