Job Title: Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Req ID: 15446 HR Contact: Shawnta Vergo Location: Ada Cement Plant OK ABOUT THE ROLE The primary goal of this position is to conduct testing and perform electrical maintenance repairs on plant equipment. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical equipment throughout the cement plant, including instrumentation circuits, motor control circuits up to 13.8 kilovolts, and low to medium voltage drives. Read schematics and calibrate instrumentation. Utilize digital and analog PLC programming for troubleshooting. Handle low and medium voltage cable routing, splicing, and terminating. Engage in basic mechanical tasks such as non-critical welding and laser alignment. Conduct walk-by inspections and diagnostic checks. Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, and participate in team activities. Collaborate with technicians, management, and customers to ensure their needs are met safely and constructively. Commit to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety in all work environments. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required Education: High School Diploma/GED Preferred Additional Education: Associate's or Technical Degree in Electrical Required Work Experience: 1-3 years Required Computer Skills: General computer proficiency Travel Requirements: Some local travel Additional Requirements: Ability to work independently. Mathematical skills and high degree of accuracy. Capable of operating electrical test equipment. Strong oral and written communication skills.
