Job Description

Construction Project Scheduler The Project Scheduler is responsible for supporting projects with schedule tracking, schedule development, and provide proactive solutions to mitigate schedule risk. Minimum qualifications include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, typing, and using computers at a level normally acquired through completion of a two-year technical or business degree or related field or equivalent experience; and 1-2 years' experience in a project scheduling role. Key skills and competencies include the ability to read/interpret/analyze construction schedules, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project, the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, make decisions, and contribute as needed, excellent human relations skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. Job responsibilities include providing ongoing schedule tracking and labor projections for multiple projects, using standardized company workbooks, development of large project and specific area micro schedules with Microsoft Project or P6, resource load project schedule with labor hours, regular updates and maintenance of project schedules, labor analysis tools and actual hours worked, working with the construction team to coordinate schedule updates for each project, development of impact and multiple scenarios schedule, and performing additional duties as assigned.
