Job Summary We are looking to hire a subsidiary compliance specialist to define, implement and run the overall MPS subsidiary compliance program. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to gather, organize, and manage complex information across a range of stakeholders. As a member of MPS's Finance department, you will work closely with other team members and collaborate with MPS's internal stakeholders, legal, accounting, and other business groups to support all aspects of our subsidiary compliance program. Key Responsibilities Manage, organize, and maintain subsidiary related files, including incorporation documentation. Assess industry tools to select and implement efficient and effective systems to keep stakeholders aligned and ensure all subsidiary compliance tasks are timely completed. Collaborate with finance and legal team in various jurisdictions to maintain business registrations, research new business registrations, government survey filings, etc. Coordinate internal document notarizations, Apostilles, certifications, and signatures. Assist with tracking and preparation of new corporate filings and documents, including annual meeting minutes, resolutions, powers of attorney, certification of annual financials, governance meetings, intercompany loan agreements, etc. Create and customize spreadsheets and other tools for collection and tracking of filing deadlines, records, and data. Requirements and Qualifications Ability to obtain Washington State Notary certification. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent work experience is required. 3-5 years' experience in finance or business organization, in compliance, finance, or administrative support functions. Demonstrated detail-attentiveness, and excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Exhibit aptitude to develop specific and detailed knowledge and understanding of complex issues and procedures. Strong time management skills, and ambition to work in a dynamic, shared environment are essential; ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently. Ability to work effectively and enthusiastically within a team environment. Excellent computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn any practice related software. Prior experience in business or law office is desirable. Ability to shift priorities and handle multiple, competing tasks. Passion for personal accountability and setting high standards is essential for success. Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons.
