Lake Technical College is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and student-focused Paramedic Instructor to teach in our postsecondary EMS education program. Responsibilities Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction in paramedicine theory, skills, and clinical practice Facilitate hands-on labs, simulations, and scenario-based training Supervise students during clinical and/or field internships as appropriate Develop lesson plans, assessments, and course materials Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback Maintain compliance with accreditation and state regulatory requirements Stay current with EMS protocols, medical advancements, and educational best practices Contribute to curriculum development and program improvement initiatives Qualifications Current, unrestricted Paramedic certification/license in Florida (State and/or National Registry) Minimum 4 years of field experience in pre-hospital environment with an ALS provider. Have a minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited institution Prior teaching or precepting experience preferred (not required-training available) Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Commitment to student success and professional conduct Instructor certifications such as AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS, NAEMT courses, or educator credentials are an asset If you have additional questions about the position, please reach out to the hiring manager at the school/department to which you are applying, as noted below in this job posting.
