What You'll Be Doing At Lowe's, every team member plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring our store remains clean, safe, and well-stocked. As the Manager of Asset Protection and Safety (APSM), you will: Support Store Operational Leadership in providing friendly and efficient service to all customers. Monitor and analyze receiving, shipping, and sales patterns in your assigned store. Lead initiatives and establish processes that enhance safety, reduce shrinkage, and improve security outcomes. Oversee programs to minimize losses by maintaining a secure shopping environment. Address and manage incidents, ensuring the safety of both customers and staff. Act as a knowledgeable resource on safety protocols, regulations, and reporting. Note: Regular travel is not required, but occasional travel for meetings, training, or support of neighboring stores may be necessary. What We Seek This position offers either full-time (approximately 39 to 40 hours per week) or part-time (up to 25 hours per week) opportunities. You should be prepared for flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, any day of the week. Additionally, you should possess: The physical ability to perform essential tasks that might require extended periods of standing, sitting, or other activities. The ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance and potentially lift more with help. To Succeed in This Role Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree or a High School Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience in retail or asset protection. Preferred Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Safety, Business, or a related field. Completion of a national certified training program (e.g., Wicklander-Zuwalski or Reed training). Professional accreditation (e.g., APQ, APC) or comparable experience. Two years of experience supervising employees, including coaching, mentoring, and training. Two years of managerial experience in a retail environment. Experience conducting quality audits and investigations. Analytical experience with business documents such as P&L and exception reports. Familiarity with physical security systems (e.g., CCTV, EAS). Compensation The pay range for this role is $27.80 - $31.15 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and experience.
