Your Role As a Team Leader Associate, you will oversee operations in a single retail office during the tax season, consistently exceeding client expectations. Your work will begin with a flexible part-time schedule in late fall, transitioning to a full-time commitment from January through April. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in supervising or managing a team Track record of delivering exceptional customer service Your Responsibilities: Support the Multi-Unit Team Leader as the main point of contact for tax office associates and clients, ensuring quality service and execution that promotes H&R Block’s value. Hold tax office associates accountable for the client service experience, escalating issues to the Multi-Unit Team Leader and District General Manager as necessary. Address onsite escalated client service concerns promptly. Manage client scheduling effectively and resolve conflicts, escalating as needed. Lead operations from the front desk, providing phone support and engaging with clients to ensure a stellar experience. Coordinate daily activities to organize work schedules for associates and ensure deadlines are met with a focus on quality and priorities. Conduct daily huddles to communicate critical information to all office associates. Essential Skills: Previous experience in customer service or a similar role. Strong organizational skills for managing daily office operations. Customer-focused with excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Availability for a flexible work schedule of 40 hours per week based on business needs. High school diploma or equivalent, or higher.
