The Supply Planner will support the BPG Heating, Cooling, and Construction business through the sales and operations planning process by balancing capacities and inventory projections to meet current and future demand plans. This role will partner with product development, procurement, commercial, operations and transportation teams to understand the diverse needs of each group (e.g. new products, markets, transportation and production methods) and develop innovative, cost-effective solutions within the supply chain network.Primary Areas of Responsibility Primary owner of the supply plan within the S&OP process Coordinate weekly cross functional Sales & Operations Execution meeting to ensure on time delivery of orders from entry to customer delivery Partner with our plant operations on capacities for planning purposes Facilitate monthly cross-functional conversations / supply review meetings needed to achieve consensus supply plan Model supply scenarios to optimize capacity, space, and financials Manage inventory levels to ensure the business has sufficient stock without overcapitalizing material Create production plans using equivalent unit analyses and partner with the operations on execution Analyze import data and report on the foreseen affects to our business Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure we have sufficient raw materials to meet our production needs, while balancing holding costs and optimal inventory levels Develop new tool and improve on existing metrics to evaluate supply chain performance. Support demand planning where necessary to ensure alignment to full S&OP plan Critical Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Previous supply chain related experience a plus (e.g., buyer, planner) Intermediate knowledge of MRP and Forecasting software tools Exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Responsible, reliable and self-motivated.
