The Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) provides a diverse mix of analytical instruments and associated services to a broad range of end-user markets including Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Mining, Life Science Manufacturing, and Recycling. Key Responsibilities: Material Handling & Receiving Operations (Primary Focus) Perform visual inspections and manual logging of equipment, parts, and documentation Receive shipments in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT), hazardous material handling, and international shipping regulations Coordinate import documentation and ensure proper regulatory adherence Maintain secure and organized Shipping/Receiving areas Perform routine and accurate data entry into ERP, CRM, or other tracking systems Crosstrain and assist with administrative support functions Physical Requirements: Lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly to shoulder height Repeatedly squat, bend, and lift materials Sit for extended periods during data entry tasks Depot Repair & Technical Responsibilities Diagnose and repair handheld XRF instruments and in-process units Provide detailed corrective action documentation for repairs Meet daily and weekly repair targets (KPIs) Prioritize repair orders with team lead Crosstrain on calibration processes Maintain ISO-auditable records of repairs and testing results Perform MRP system transactions and process work orders Troubleshoot failure modes within assigned processes Follow ISO9000, ESD, PPE, and 5S standards Participate in daily team stand-up meetings Train fellow technicians as needed Perform component soldering (preferred) Operating hardware and software test systems Communicate repair status updates, revised quotes, and parts delays to Tech Support and internal teams Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required Minimum Experience: 2+ years of customer service, operation, and/or manufacturing experience Preferred Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Benefits: We offer competitive remuneration, healthcare coverage, and a comprehensive range of employee benefits including: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability 401(k) Plan Options Stock Sharing Procurement Options Additional Life Insurance and Supplemental Coverage Compensation and Benefits: The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $16.78$25.17.
