The CT Technologist performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical levelrequiring no constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical and imagingprocedures that require independent judgment. Assumes responsibility forpatient safety and image quality protocols. Performs routine CT scans andassists Radiologist during special procedures performed with the scanner, suchas biopsies or abscess drainage, etc. EDUCATION Graduate of Radiology Technology program, which is accredited by theJoint Review Committee for Radiology Technology Education (JRCRTE). Valid State Licensure. TRAINING/EXPERIENCE Completion of accredited RAD Tech program. WORK HOURS: Night Shift 7 days on / 7 days off JOB KNOWLEDGE Capable of performing all routine diagnostic procedures including but not limited to OR.
