Job Description

Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services is recruiting a technical specialist/developer to enhance the Iowa Rehabilitation Services System (IRSS) for case management. Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services is recruiting a technical specialist/developer to enhance the Iowa Rehabilitation Services System (IRSS) for case management. This project work will ensure compliance with federal and state security requirements and draw on industry best practices. Ideal candidate is a Full stack developer with a strong security background. Preference for candidates with experience developing on security projects. The project work will focus on security enhancements and other feature development for IRSS. Security enhancements will include integrating new identity access management solutions, enhancing encryption of data at rest and in transit, and ensure compliance with Federal Regulation regarding audit logging. This project is in the early discovery phase and the contractor will assist in development, along with requirements refinement. This project will require updating web applications, SQL databases, web forms, and other applications as needed. IVRS IRSS development team consists of four developers, a project manager, and three analysts that represent different parts of the business. The contractor will augment the team as they complete business operations for federal compliance.
