Job Duties: Sets welding machine voltage and wire speed for proper fusion of metals following standard work methods and detailed drawings. Produces complex welded assemblies to close tolerances where considerable knowledge and skill in the field of welding are required to produce quality results. May include working with robotic gas welding equipment. Performs regular maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment to ensure proper working order. Inspects welds for obvious and non-obvious defects such as but not limited to: weld spatter, rough welds, missing welds and sharp corners/edges. Performs other duties as assigned Job Skills Requirements: Basic reading, writing and math skills.
