Student Assistant Position The California Civil Rights Department (CRD) is seeking to hire two student assistants to help enhance the California Civil Rights Department's administrative procedures. The students will review CRD policies, procedures, and methods of operations. The students will study, analyze, and provide recommendations on systems, devices, machines, software/platforms, and procedures for the Department. Assist with functions of health and safety, including the interpretation and administration of CalOSHA laws. Assist with the functions of human resources, including analyzing and administering the merit-based hires and maintaining a competent workforce. Assist with the functions of fiscal management, including accounting and budget practices. Assist with the function of business services, including sound procurement practices and facilities management. This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited, student position. Must complete each term with minimum unit requirements for Undergraduate and Graduate student classifications. Experience with Microsoft programs.
