In this pivotal role, you'll manage exciting construction projects from inception to completion while leading the estimating process for both public and private sector ventures. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction projects, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and team dynamics. Work closely with Superintendents to establish and maintain a Master Schedule and update weekly. Act as the primary liaison for clients; build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Monitor budgets and proactively manage costs to prevent overruns. Prepare, execute, and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders. Lead project meetings and site visits, ensuring adherence to Toro's Safety Plan. Mentor and train junior team members including Project Engineers and Assistant PMs. Embody and promote Toro Construction's core values of Integrity, Humility, Trust, Respect, Passion, and Courage. Estimating / Preconstruction: Lead estimating efforts for new opportunities, managing the process from bid identification to submission. Organize and facilitate weekly estimating meetings. Conduct detailed takeoffs and prepare estimates for executive review. Analyze risks and market competitiveness to create compelling proposals. Guide and develop the estimating team. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits. Estimate self-performed scopes such as carpentry and drywall when necessary. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in construction project management and estimating. Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities to inspire and guide teams. Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Experience with public work/government contract projects. PMP Certification is preferred. Proficient in Bluebeam, Primavera, Microsoft Project, Procore, Building Connected. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented, analytical, and resourceful. Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary: Based on experience.
