Graphic Design & Production SpecialistLocation: Tacoma, WA Pay: $17.13 - $23.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full Time SmartTalent is currently seeking a creative and detail-focused Graphic Design & Production Specialist to support a fast-paced production environment. This role focuses on preparing artwork files for engraving, printing, and promotional products while ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the design and production process. The ideal candidate has strong graphic design skills, enjoys working with detailed artwork, and is comfortable adapting to changing priorities throughout the day. This position works closely with team members to ensure designs are prepared correctly for production and completed on schedule. Primary Responsibilities Prepare and format artwork files for engraving, printing, and promotional product production Convert artwork files into vector format and adjust designs to meet production specifications Use graphic design software to create and modify layouts based on provided templates or customer artwork Review designs carefully to ensure measurements, spacing, and formatting meet production standards Assist with preparing artwork for detailed specialty products and custom orders Monitor order-related communications and respond to internal inquiries related to artwork or design needs Support team members with design preparation and production tasks as needed Maintain accuracy and organization while working on multiple projects or orders simultaneously Qualifications Previous experience with graphic design software required (CorelDRAW or similar programs preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements and design specifications Ability to follow templates, instructions, and production guidelines accurately Good time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment Dependable work history and willingness to learn new processes or technologies Physical Requirements Position requires working at a computer for extended periods, reviewing artwork details, and occasionally assisting with light production tasks as needed.
