GENERAL SUMMARY: The Loan Consultant II role is perfect for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences while providing personalized loan solutions. This position is vital in cultivating a strong customer base through effective sales techniques, loan extensions, and merchant referrals. Success in this role will be measured by creating excellent customer experiences, driving business growth, ensuring compliance, achieving monthly targets, and maintaining accuracy in all transactions. MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcome and assist clients coming into the office or contacting us by phone; process credit and employment verifications with precision. Facilitate payments and distributions while offering insights on loan approvals. Approve loans in accordance with established lending guidelines and conduct loan closings efficiently. Engage in collection account activities, including direct interactions with customers in-person and over the phone. Create and maintain reports, correspondence, and documentation; manage cash drawer operations, process bank deposits, and ensure meticulous record-keeping. Actively promote all branch products and services to enhance customer understanding and engagement. Conduct other related duties as assigned by management. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. 2-4 years of experience in consumer finance or a related field. Proficiency in cash handling, computer skills, and customer service. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word applications. PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associates or Bachelor's Degree. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
