Position Type: Student Support Services/Speech and Language Pathologist Date Posted: 12/9/2025 Location: Special Education Clio Area School DistrictJOB TITLE: Speech and Language Pathologist (Part-Time) QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate Master's degree in speech and language pathology OR Meet the requirements for speech-language certification by the American speech-language-hearing association Ability to impact subject matter. Skills to work cooperatively with students, parents, and staff. Demonstrated mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the essential duties of the position. JOB DESCRIPTION: Complete comprehensive and timely speech and language evaluations for students. Provide case management for case load of students as assigned. Schedule, write, and conduct annual IEPs for students on caseload on a yearly basis. Provide consultative, group and direct therapy to students with speech and language impairments. Provide support for parents and families as needed to support the teaching of speech skills in the home. Consult and provide support to teachers, principals and other staff for students with speech and language concerns and caseload students. Complete ASD evaluations as part of the MET team and provide specialized support for students with ASD. Report services provided to Medicaid and other Federal and State funding Agencies.
