Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Inspector will play a vital role in inspecting precision optical assemblies and components within a cleanroom setting. This position involves regular interactions with Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineers, and Quality Engineers, ensuring timely product shipments and prompt identification of defects. Your Responsibilities Include: Performing In-Process and Final Inspections of optical and opto-electronic assembly components, products, and processes. Conducting visual inspections for compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Accurately documenting inspection results through data collection and reporting. Communicating non-conforming conditions to the relevant personnel for timely resolution. Reviewing material certifications and test reports for accuracy and compliance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement. Taking on additional quality-related tasks as needed. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED, with an AAS or AS preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality-related field. Experience with optical inspection preferred. Exceptional attention to detail, capable of identifying small errors in data reviews. Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Strong time-management skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including low-light conditions. Specific vision capabilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Prolonged periods of magnified inspection may cause eye strain. Good hand-eye coordination is necessary. Exposure to cleaning solutions and a cleanroom environment is expected, with safety precautions in place. This position is situated in a loud manufacturing environment with moving machinery. .
