You will work remotely, reporting to the Director of Services, Americas. While your primary location is flexible, be prepared for occasional travel (10-30%) for client consultations and project implementations. Your Role Architect and design scalable, secure, and resilient Kubernetes infrastructure tailored to customer needs in diverse environments. Guide clients through technical assessments, architectural reviews, and solution design, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructures. Support pre-sales efforts by defining customer needs and developing comprehensive technical approaches. Lead the deployment and lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal workload placement and effective networking configurations. Implement GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate provisioning and cluster management. Create documentation, operational runbooks, and reference architectures to empower customers and facilitate long-term maintainability. Enhance our practice by developing reusable delivery kits and educational materials for internal training. Stay current with cloud-native technologies, making recommendations for improvements in operational efficiency and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions and drive innovation. What You Will Bring 10+ years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or infrastructure engineering roles. Extensive hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting in production environments. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is preferred. A proven track record of architecting end-to-end container solutions focused on high availability and security. Fluency in hybrid and multi-cloud Kubernetes deployments (on-premises, AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, particularly in Kubernetes settings. Practical experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and container management. Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) or similar distributions is a plus. Architectural design expertise with credentials like TOGAF, VCDX, CCIE, or NPX. Adeptness at converting business needs into scalable, secure technical solutions. The compensation range for this position is USD $160,000 to $240,000 annually, with individual pay varying based on market location, relevant skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, the total compensation package may include bonuses, stock units, and a comprehensive benefits package that covers medical expenses, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off.
