Details CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) setting within a hospital environment Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM 13-week contract Must be available for a pre-placement interview Floating may be required to like units or lower acuity units across the organization (excluding the ED) 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week cycle At least one winter holiday shift required, including the associated holiday weekend Requirements Active CA RN license required Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications — all must be in hand at time of consideration Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required, with at least 6 months of continuous travel experience between July 2025 and present Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Provide intensive cardiovascular nursing care to critically ill patients in the CVICU 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Any time off or scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront at time of consideration American Traveler Job ID #P-680465.
