Collaborate with dentists to identify the best treatment options for various dental conditions. As a successful Dental Hygienist, you will: Ensure patients are comfortable before their exams Effectively sterilize dental instruments Conduct thorough mouth screenings and review oral health histories Identify oral health issues such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis Execute teeth cleaning and protection procedures, including plaque removal and fluoride application Educate patients of all ages on proper dental care practices, including effective brushing techniques Provide clear post-procedure instructions to patients Take X-rays and dental impressions Assist dentists in choosing appropriate treatments for various conditions, including oral cancer Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Monitor and manage dental supplies efficiently Qualifications: Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role Dental Hygiene license is required Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the field (e.g., HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Exceptional communication skills A friendly and patient demeanor Strong attention to detail Physical stamina to meet job demands Diploma in Dental Hygiene is highly preferred Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
