This Contingent Consultant role with Henry Ford Health is an hourly, special projects-focused position designed to provide experienced nursing leadership support for a limited duration engagement. This role is structured for up to 750 hours per calendar year and will support targeted initiatives within the Ambulatory Nursing division. Working closely with the Department of Ambulatory Nursing, the Consultant will lead and support special projects focused on advancing ambulatory nursing practice and strengthening patient care delivery across multiple sites and departments. This role will partner with nursing leadership, clinicians, and interdisciplinary care teams to help drive, manage, develop, and evaluate initiatives that enhance the delivery of high-quality patient care. The Consultant will collaborate with nursing and operational leadership to ensure that effective patient care processes, governance structures, and clinical standards are in place. Care delivery initiatives will align with departmental, Henry Ford Medical Group, and Henry Ford Health policies and procedures. In addition, the Consultant will help foster a culture of nursing engagement by facilitating the empowerment of staff and encouraging innovative approaches to patient care delivery. The role supports a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment dedicated to the continuous improvement of patient care services. Project Scope Projects will include specialized initiatives focused on strengthening nurse engagement and advancing nursing excellence, as directed by the Ambulatory Chief Nursing Officer and Nursing Administrators.
