WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Worcester, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Emergency Room Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Worcester, MA. Job Function: Night Shift. 3x12: 7pm-7am. Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions. Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience. Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early intervention. Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing. Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures. Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Current RN license for the state of Massachusetts. 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty ED. BLS & ACLS PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
