Correctional RN Hours 5x8 hour shifts per week 3rd shift 12am-8am Will have to work every 3rd weekend of the month Correctional RN Compensation The pay for this position is $48.00-52.00 an hour paid weekly Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Correctional RN Responsibilities Assess the physical and mental health of inmates through intake screenings, routine checks, and evaluations. Administer medications, injections, and treatments according to physician orders. Monitor chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory issues, adjusting care as needed. Provide emergency care, including CPR, first aid, and stabilization for acute medical situations. Document all medical care, assessments, and interventions accurately in inmate medical records. Coordinate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff to implement treatment plans. Educate inmates on health, hygiene, and disease prevention. Conduct TB tests, vaccinations, and other preventive health measures. Respond to medical requests and urgent issues in the facility in a timely manner. Maintain medical supplies, equipment, and ensure proper sanitation in clinical areas. Collaborate with correctional officers to ensure safe and secure delivery of healthcare. Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance activities for healthcare standards.
