Company : Health Force

Location : Honolulu, HI

Created : 2026-03-21

Job Type : Full Time

Job Description

Embark on a life-changing journey as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse in Honolulu, Hawaii, where your expertise in critical care meets the warmth of the Aloha spirit. In this role, you’ll deliver high-stakes, evidence-driven care to critically ill patients, guide families through difficult moments, and play a pivotal part in improving outcomes on every shift. You’ll have the chance to shape care plans, refine invasive monitoring skills, and mentor newer team members, all while experiencing the excitement and challenges of a vibrant island setting. The assignment is scheduled to begin on 03/30/2026 and will unfold over a weeks-long timeframe with a guaranteed 48 hours of work per week, ensuring you can plan life outside the hospital as you build deep clinical mastery. Working in Honolulu offers a unique blend: a thriving urban health system set against pristine shorelines, with easy access to world-class beaches, snorkeling and surfing, hiking trails through lush landscapes, and a culture that honors family, community, and resilience. You’ll practice in a coastal city that blends modern technology with compassionate care, and you’ll have opportunities to encounter a diverse patient population that enriches your clinical perspective. If you’re curious, there may also be chances to experience other U.S. locations through the broader assignment network, expanding your professional horizon while maintaining the support you expect from a travel partner. In terms of role specifics, you’ll be responsible for continuous patient assessment, critical care management, hemodynamic monitoring, and the safe administration of vasoactive therapies under physician supervision. You’ll manage ventilation strategies, sedation plans, pain control, infection prevention, and daily progress notes, ensuring timely communication with physicians, transition of care planning, and accurate family updates. You’ll lead rounds, collaborate with respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the broader ICU team to optimize outcomes, and you’ll contribute to unit-based quality improvement initiatives that reinforce safe practice and patient advocacy. This position offers substantial opportunities for professional growth within the ICU discipline: pursue advanced certifications, participate in simulation and in-service training, mentor new staff, and expand your scope through cross-training within critical care services. The company supports your development with structured pathways, credentialing assistance, and access to continuing education, all designed to elevate your clinical leadership. Benefits go beyond competitive pay. You’ll receive a competitive weekly rate in the range of $3,370 to $3,470, reflecting your expertise and the value you bring to the ICU team. The package also includes a sign-on bonus where applicable, comprehensive housing assistance to minimize relocation stress, and the possibility of contract extensions to maximize continuity and career progression. A dedicated, 24/7 support team is available to you while traveling with the company, ensuring smooth onboarding, rapid problem resolution, and constant connection to resources you may need on the go. You’ll work with a partner that prioritizes your safety, comfort, and professional well-being, whether you’re on Honolulu’s bustling hospital floors or exploring the wider network across the country. Company values center on empowerment and opportunity. The organization is committed to uplifting every nurse through clear career pathways, mentorship, and a collaborative culture that respects autonomy and fosters teamwork. You’ll find a supportive environment that celebrates your contributions, rewards initiative, and encourages ongoing advancement—whether that means stepping into charge roles, leading quality initiatives, or pursuing specialty certifications that align with your career goals. If you’re ready to apply, seize this exciting chance to join a company that values your expertise and supports your growth. Begin your next chapter in Hawaii’s ICU environment, make a measurable difference for patients and families, and leverage a stable schedule with guaranteed hours and a rewarding pay package. Start date 03/30/2026. Don’t miss the opportunity to merge clinical excellence with island life and professional development—apply now to join our dedicated ICU team.
