Job Details - Travel Nursing Job Location: Voorhees, New Jersey (08043) - Camden County, near Philadelphia Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 - July 13, 2026) Setting: Level III high?risk Labor & Delivery Unit (maternal?fetal/obstetric care) Shift: 3 x 12?hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00) Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel/Contract (on?site travel nurse position) Scrubs: Provided by hospital Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,580 - $2,720 per week Qualifications & Job Requirements Minimum 2.5 years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (within the last 12 months); obstetric nursing and maternal?newborn experience required Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission) Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (valid and not expiring within 30 days of assignment start) Must pass hospital Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing (PC test; two attempts allowed) COVID?19 and influenza vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered) EPIC electronic charting experience preferred (maternal/newborn documentation) Ability to float to High Risk OB unit (HROB) and, if needed, to up to five nearby hospitals within scope of practice First?time travel nurses are welcome - travel nursing experience is a plus but not required Key Responsibilities - Labor & Delivery RN / Obstetric Nurse Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a Level III high?risk environment Monitor and assess antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including continuous fetal and maternal monitoring and early inductions Care for high?risk obstetric patients on HROB when assigned; collaborate with maternal?fetal medicine and interdisciplinary teams Perform newborn stabilization and initial care per NRP guidelines; support postpartum and breastfeeding initiation Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC (preferred) or hospital charting system Adhere to hospital infection control, PPE, fit testing, and clean?shaven requirements Complete orientation modules and required lab work within 48 hours of signing Work rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled (every other weekend/holiday coverage required) Why This Travel Nursing Assignment?
