Join Our Team as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist! Dewitt Dental Associates is searching for an enthusiastic Part-Time Dental Hygienist to enhance our practice in the vibrant Cherry Creek area of Denver. Schedule: Part Time 2 to 3 days per week 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Key Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct dental cleanings including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing (SRP) Perform periodontal charting and assessments Take and review dental radiographs in accordance with regulatory standards Administer preventive treatments like fluoride applications and sealants Identify and communicate potential signs of oral disease to the dentist Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Support treatment plans and provide clear post-treatment care instructions Maintain detailed and accurate patient records Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols Ensure instrument sterilization and operatory cleanliness Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow Requirements: Valid Dental Hygienist license in Colorado Current CPR/BLS certification Excellent communication and patient education skills Compassionate, patient-centered care approach Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Experience in SRP and periodontal therapy Familiarity with using a Perio laser Knowledge of placing Arestin Experience with Eaglesoft dental software Local anesthesia certification is a plus Compensation: $65 to $70 per hour based on experience Join a supportive and collaborative team environment Be part of a respected, patient-focused practice Our office is conveniently located at 3300 E. 1st Ave, Suite 615, Denver, CO 80206, in the desirable Cherry Creek neighborhood.
