Certifications Active Ohio RN License (Required) BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required ARRT certification - Preferred Special Skills Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring - Preferred Scrub Procedures - Preferred Electrophysiology Procedures Circulate Procedures Triage - Preferred Work Environment This position involves working in an Interventional Radiology unit with a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team to perform a wide range of interventional procedures. The daily census is approximately 30 patients, and there are 9 procedure rooms available. Patient Care The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients while maintaining a patient ratio of 1:1. Responsibilities include performing various interventional procedures such as: Vascular access IVC Filter placement/removal Embolization TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt) UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization) Fistula gram PCN (Percutaneous Nephrostomy) PTC (Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiography) Drains and venous reconstruction Circulating for complex procedures Additional Information Call Requirements: 2 shifts of call during the contract Floating may be required as needed Weekend Coverage: Every other or every third weekend Orientation: 30 hours If you possess the qualifications and skills necessary for this role, we encourage you to apply to join our dynamic team in delivering high-quality patient care in Interventional Radiology.
