Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Boise, ID Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,097 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Boise, Idaho, 83712!Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a related specialty License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: Must have 2 years of Medical Surgical experience. Proficiency with central lines, NG tube management, ostomy care, and drain management is essential. Experience with continuous bladder irrigation and foley management is preferred. Description: The registered nurse will be part of a medical surgical unit. This unit includes a variety of specialty surgeries and medical patients. The nurse to patient ratio is between 1:4-5 based on patient acuity. An acuity tool is utilized for balancing assignments. A charge nurse is available on each shift without patient assignments. Leadership support is present with assistant nurse managers and a nurse manager. Nursing assistants are provided at a ratio of 1:8-10. Remote telemetry monitoring is utilized, and nurses need to be able to read strips. Floating to similar units across facilities is required. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, with a possibility of more if needed. The nurse will be expected to fill in on holidays if necessary.
