Why Choose Star Nursing? Location: Syracuse, NY Start Date: ASAP Shifts: X1 AM (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM) 36 to 40 hours per week Length: 13 weeks Pay Rate: Local RN: $58/hr. RN Travel with housing: $43/hr RN Travel No Housing split: $25/hr. taxable + $1260 non taxable weekly stipend (25/35) Responsibilities and Duties Assess patient needs, create, implement, and monitor individualized care plans, and manage care from admission to discharge. Serve as the primary liaison between patients, families, physicians, and insurance providers to ensure informed, high-quality care. Record detailed medical updates, manage insurance claims, and ensure compliance with healthcare policies and regulations. Arrange for post-discharge services, such as home health, medical equipment, or rehabilitation. Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management. Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans to optimize results and minimize unnecessary costs.
