Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Morrisville/Stowe, VTLocation: Morrisville/Stowe, VTEmployment Type: Full-Time and Part-TimeCompensation: $130 $135/hour (based on experience)OverviewWe are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team and provide high-quality anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical and clinical settings. This role involves independent practice within the full scope of anesthesia services, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal surgical conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister general, regional, and local anesthesia for various procedures, including obstetric, orthopedic, pediatric, trauma, general, and outpatient surgeriesConduct pre-anesthesia assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and review of laboratory dataDevelop and implement appropriate anesthesia care plansPerform airway management, including endotracheal intubation and ventilatory supportAdminister spinal, epidural, and regional nerve blocks (including ultrasound-guided techniques)Monitor patients vital signs and physiological responses before, during, and after anesthesiaMaintain accurate and detailed patient records and anesthesia documentationRespond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and adverse reactionsCollaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient careParticipate in quality assurance, peer review, and continuous improvement initiativesManage anesthesia equipment, supplies, and inventoryEnsure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational policies and standardsEducationGraduate of an accredited School of NursingGraduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesiology programCertifications & LicensureCurrent CRNA certification (NBCRNA)Active Vermont RN/APRN license in good standingDEA registrationBLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (preferred)Experience1 5 years of independent anesthesia practice preferredComfortable working independentlyExperience with regional anesthesia and ultrasound-guided blocks preferredSkills & CompetenciesGeneral and regional anesthesia expertiseLabor analgesia and emergency intubationCritical care support and patient stabilizationStrong clinical judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to perform effectively in high-pressure environmentsBenefitsCompetitive hourly compensationFlexible scheduling options (Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem)Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO) and holidaysRetirement plan options (e.g., 401k)Malpractice insurance coverageContinuing education (CME) supportRelocation assistance (if applicable)Supportive and collaborative work environment
