JOB SUMMARY Join our team as a Forklift Operator, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our selection process. You will be responsible for replenishing selection slots during operations and ensuring proper product rotation in FIFO (first-in-first-out) order. RESPONSIBILITIES Replenish selection slots effectively during selection operations. Ensure products are rotated according to FIFO standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in your work area at all times. Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS Education A High School Diploma or GED is required. Experience At least six (6) months of experience in a warehouse environment. Preferred six (6) months of experience operating a stand-up forklift and riding pallet jack. Basic knowledge of fresh produce is a plus. Experience in replenishment, product cycling, using RF scanners, and returns functions is preferred. Skills Strong reading and writing skills; fluency in English is required. Ability to meet productivity standards and work efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Demand Ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, and walk. Capacity to lift and move cases weighing up to 75 lbs consistently, at various heights from floor to overhead. Proficient use of hands for tasks like labeling and equipment handling. Must be able to talk and hear, particularly to recognize warning sounds from machinery. Visual acuity required for close and distant tasks, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exhibit stamina, energy, and strength to succeed in this role. Work Environment Willingness to work in confined spaces is essential.
