MaterialHandler 2 PositionOverview: -Oversees allstock room documentation and system transactional accuracy via Macom's ERPand/or WH management system. -Coordinates theexecution of stock control, order picklists, and dispatch documentation as perorder requirements. -Works closelywith external freight management providers regarding receipts/shipments asrequired. Key Responsibilities: -Provide logistics / stockroom support, ensuring targets are met. -Uses existing procedures & training provided to create conduct various WHand/or ERP system adjustments as required. -Liaises with external logistics companies and/or freight management reps toschedule receipt/dispatch bookings as required. -Executes & ensures material accuracy and transactions are maintained toensure full accurate alignment between physical available material compared tothe inventory management/ERP system. -Conducts various counts and/or system transactions to ensure materials andsystem quantities are in sync at all times. -Applies general knowledge/supply techniques developed through Macom's definedlogistics processes & ERP system requirements. -Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of business procedures and processflows. -Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of overall Macom logistics & supplychain theories. -Uses existing logistics procedures to solve standard problems; analysesinformation and standard practices to make judgments. -Liaise in a professional and efficient manner with Logistics Supervisor and/orManager to resolve queries and provide regular updates. -Communicate with internal warehouse personnel and external logistics personnelto ensure stock receipt/dispatch paperwork is compliantwith procedures. -Participate in and contribute to internal training as required. KeyCompetencies & Skills required: -Strong desire to develop logistical & associated ERP/WHManagement system skills. -Strong Analytical skills. -Effective communication skills. -Ability to work within a team environment. -Ability to work on own initiative. -Knowledge of ERP/WH system (SAP). RequiredQualifications and Experience: -Minimum 2yrs of logistics equivalent experience (and/or completed 3rd levelstudies in applicable areas). -Experience working with ERP and/or WH systems required -Minimum 2 years' experience in logistics and/or warehouse activities, workingwith ERP and/or WH systems required. -Due to ITAR regulations, candidates must be a US Person.
