We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide exceptional anesthesia services at York Hospital, a distinguished Level I Trauma Center. This role offers an exciting chance to work with a diverse patient population across a broad spectrum of surgical and procedural specialties, including trauma, neuro & spine, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, pediatrics, plastics, orthopedics, and robotics. In this vital role, you will collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty clinicians to ensure safe, patient-centered anesthesia care. Required Skills: Board Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Valid Pennsylvania nursing license Certification in ACLS and PALS Proficiency in GETA, MAC, Regional, Spinal, and US techniques Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice experience preferred Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations Strong communication and teamwork skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience with epidural placement without doctor present Exposure to trauma and high-acuity patient care Familiarity with Epic EMR system Ability to adapt to a variable schedule and shift timings Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center or large hospital setting Other Requirements: PA state license required; DEA not necessary Credentialing within approximately 90 days (expedited credentialing available with leadership approval) Ability to work 4-5 day shifts of 10 hours each, including some weekends and overnight shifts Willingness to handle full-time coverage with variable shifts This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $229.11, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable.
