Conduct functional testing on assemblies and finished units. Maintain clear communication with leads, engineers, and other assembly team members. Partner with fellow technicians to refine processes and share best practices. Troubleshoot assembly challenges and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues. Use hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices safely and effectively. Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting quality and productivity goals. Build electronic and electromechanical assemblies, including soldering and basic programming of electronic devices. Keep accurate documentation of equipment performance and maintenance activities. Provide feedback to engineering on potential improvements to products or processes. Follow all safety guidelines, including ESD control requirements. Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in soldering and mechanical/electromechanical assembly. Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings. Familiarity with epoxy use, PCB work, and assembly‑level programming. Skilled with manual and power tools commonly used in assembly work. Two‑year technical degree or equivalent hands‑on experience in a related field. Minimum of three years in electronics, electromechanical assembly, or similar environments. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting. Solid communication skills—both verbal and written. Able to adapt quickly to workflow changes and manage multiple tasks. Working knowledge of electrical components, troubleshooting tools, and diagnostic equipment. Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Lean principles, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies. Experience in equipment maintenance. PCB programming experience.
