Today, we provide care services to Medical Oncology and Hematology, Radiation Oncology, Rheumatology, and Urology patients. Beacon has an excellent opportunity available within our clinic as a Billing Customer Service Representative. Duties/Responsibilities: Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing issues, payment processing, and account statements via phone, email, or chat. Assist patients in understanding their bills, payment arrangements, and any discrepancies. Resolve billing disputes and work closely with the billing department to rectify errors and ensure accurate billing. Process payments, set up payment plans, call patients regarding past due balances, and handle refund requests according to company policies. Maintain billing records and ensure all documents are accessible and up to date in the billing system. Collaborate with other team members to address patient needs and enhance specialty services. Provide feedback on patient issues to help improve overall billing processes. Stay informed about company products, services, and policies to effectively assist patients. Skills/Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude. Proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the billing or financial department.
