Body Installer Needed in Tuscaloosa!Responsibilities: Cut, shape, and weld metal parts (aluminum/steel) using MIG/TIG welders, shears, brakes, and grinders to create custom bodies, brackets, and bumpers. Mount truck bodies, equipment, and accessories, including hydraulic pumps, valves, PTOs, and 12V electrical components. Read blueprints and technical diagrams to assemble, align, and fasten components using bolts, rivets, or welds. Inspect finished assemblies to ensure structural integrity and compliance with design specifications. Maintain shop tools and equipment, and ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Knowledge of MIG/TIG welding, metal fabrication techniques, and using power tools (die grinders, plasma cutters). Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and 12V wiring, especially for truck equipment. High school diploma or GED required, along with vocational training or relevant experience in automotive body repair or manufacturing.
