Administrative Assistant / Office Manager Washington, DC | Hybrid: Remote Mondays & Fridays; On-site Tuesday-Thursday $43/hourRole Overview: We are seeking an experienced, proactive Administrative Assistant / Office Manager to support the Washington, DC office. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes initiative. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a well-run office. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative and office support, including: Coordinating business travel arrangements and managing travel and expense reimbursements using Concur Submitting, tracking, and managing reimbursement requests and expense payments Maintaining team contact lists and distribution groups Scheduling and hosting meetings (in-person and virtual) Preparing reception rooms for external guests and arranging catering or restaurant reservations Ordering office supplies, business cards, and handling procurement requests through Coupa Coordinating building maintenance requests as needed Handling document delivery, copying, scanning, filing, mail, and packages Maintaining and updating the office handbook Supporting ad-hoc administrative requests as they arise Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within a corporate environment Hands-on experience with Concur (travel booking and expense management) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and Outlook Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Collaborative, flexible, and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred Japanese language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) is a plus, but not required
