Job Summary: Adecco is currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production needs. Job Responsibilities Pick up materials from production cells and manufacturing areas throughout the facility and prepare them for shipment. Package materials and overpack cartons when necessary to ensure safe transport. Label outgoing shipments and attach all required documentation. Prepare skids and cartons for shipment, including packing, banding, shrink wrapping, crating, and applying cautionary labels. Create bills of lading, assign carrier tracking numbers, and verify shipment contents prior to dispatch. Schedule pickups with freight carriers and coordinate shipping logistics. Receive incoming shipments and deliver materials to the appropriate departments or storage locations. Verify incoming and outgoing materials against packing lists and documentation to ensure accuracy and identify shortages. Support production by expediting parts between departments and monitoring items sent for outside processing. Communicate with internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies or inventory issues. Load and unload trucks, parcels, and skids at the loading dock using appropriate material handling equipment. Collect and process scrap and recyclable materials, including operating a cardboard baler. Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory data into the company's inventory management system. Maintain organized records and archive shipping documentation as required. Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and maintain clean, organized storage areas. Follow 5S standards and maintain a safe, orderly work environment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to read and understand work instructions, shipping documents, and safety information such as MSDS sheets. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based computer systems. Experience with shipping software such as UPS WorldShip or FedEx shipping systems preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Experience operating material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, bailers, and scales. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. regularly. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
