Seeking a Pain Nurse Practitioner to join a great health system. Specialty experience is required, will not consider a new grad for this role. Relocation Assistance! Student loan repayment! Job Description We are seeking an experienced, full-time Pain Management Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our dynamic pain management team. This role provides compassionate, evidence-based care to adult patients with acute and chronic pain, helping to meet growing demand for services across our North Country locations. Duties Provide office-based evaluation, diagnosis, and management of pain conditions for new and established adult patients Manage medications, including controlled substances, following best practices for safety and compliance (PDMP, urine drug screens) Perform minor pain procedures (e.g., trigger point injections, joint injections, occipital nerve blocks, cold ablation, Botox for migraines) Refer patients to CRNA colleagues for interventional procedures (e.g., epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation) Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding pain management plans Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including CRNAs, physicians, and allied health professionals Document care in Meditech Expanse EMR system Participate in shared call rotation (phone only, no in-hospital call; 1 week every 4 weeks once fully onboarded) May provide occasional inpatient or emergency department consults Benefits Competitive base compensation wRVU productivity and good citizenship bonus Commencement bonus AND Student loan repayment Relocation Assistance No weekend or Holiday shifts Additional on-call compensation 5 weeks of vacation, 1 week of sick time 2 weeks CME time and up to $4,500 CME funds Attractive benefit package Retirement plans Malpractice insurance with tail Essential Qualifications Board certified by NCH Medical Staff Bylaws. ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association required. Licensed Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in New Hampshire (or eligible) Minimum 2 years of experience in pain management Excellent critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills Commitment to a compassionate, nonjudgmental, whole-person approach to pain care X-waiver for Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred but not required Why Rural New Hampshire?
