We are seeking a highly motivated, and tenacious individual for an intensive Industrial Warehouse Demo project. This is a demanding, labor-intensive role focused on a complete, top-to-bottom remediation and cleaning of a large, active commercial warehouse facility. This is not a standard janitorial role; it requires significant stamina, physical effort, and a high tolerance for working in challenging, dirty, and physically demanding conditions. 1st Shift | Full Time | $20/hr Location of warehouse is 20 miles south of Bloomington - need reliable transportation Responsibilities Intense Manual Labor: Perform sustained physical tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs consistently), bending, climbing, kneeling, and working at heights using lifts or ladders (training provided). Deep Cleaning: This involves the removal of heavy dirt, grease, grime, industrial dust, and debris. Debris Removal: Efficiently bag, sort, and dispose of large volumes of trash, scrap metal, cardboard, and other industrial waste and debris. Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots and respirators. End-of-Shift: Ensure all tools and equipment are properly cleaned, maintained, and secured at the end of each shift. Requirements Proven Physical Stamina: Must be capable of performing 8+ hours of continuous, rigorous physical labor per day in environments that may be hot/cold, dusty, or noisy. Comfort with Grime: A high tolerance for working in a historically dirty environment; this job involves actively dealing with industrial buildup, grease, and heavy dust. Reliability: Must be punctual and commit to the full duration of the clean-up project. Safety Conscious: A strong understanding of and commitment to workplace safety procedures. Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in industrial cleaning, construction clean-up, material handling, or a similar physically demanding field is a plus. Equipment (Preferred): Experience operating scissor lifts, forklifts, or industrial floor cleaning machines is highly desirable, but we will train the right candidate. Required: Must be at least 18 years old, legally eligible to work in the United States, and willing to complete a pre-employment background check and/or drug screening.
