Job Description

Material Handler Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our Distribution Center in Jackson, TN. This position will take completed cartons off of conveyor among other duties. Duties: Take completed cartons off of conveyor Palletize cartons Wrap cartons onto pallet Shrink wrap pallets Stage pallets on shipping dock Floor load trailers Operate low rider Other duties as assigned Requirements: Ability to read shipping labels Proficient in UPS WorldShip Extremely detail oriented Proficient in typing Ability to lift 50 lbs Available for overtime as needed Ability to operate low rider (preferred) High School Diploma (preferred) Ability to communicate effectively when needed Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures Ability to follow directions Scheduled Work Hours: Sunday Thursday 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM Location: Jackson, TN Simon & Schuster US is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) including disability/vet.
